UNIQLO has established a roster of collaborators from Christophe Lemaire to KAWS that it frequently taps into for projects that improve the accessibility of its partners’ work. Two years ago, it introduced fellow Japanese brand White Mountaineering into the fold with a nine-piece outerwear range. Now, it iterates upon the project’s success with two new fall-ready pieces.
Leading the range, the Recycled Hybrid Down Jacket iterates upon the duo’s previous quilted jacket — offering it in olive, brown and black renditions. Its latticed wave fabric creates a natural wrinkled look as down padding for heat retention and a water-repellent finish back its versatility. As for the Fleece Full-Zip Long Sleeve Hoodie, four versions have been produced. Dark green, natural, dark brown and black color options all feature a combination of long-pile and smooth fleece. On top of this, the design utilizes a large hood and an elastic drawstring at the hem for flexibility in how it fits.
The latest project from White Mountaineering and UNIQLO launches globally on October 13 via UNIQLO’s website and its storefronts. The fleece zip hoodie is priced at $60 USD and the quilted down jacket lands at the $100 USD price point.
