In a blend of horology and motorsport craftsmanship, Unimatic and motorcycle brand Royal Enfield have teamed up to unveil the Modello Quattro U4-RE, a limited-edition timepiece — created to celebrate Royal Enfield’s nearly century and a quarter-long heritage. To this end, the edition is limited to just 122 examples, one for every year of manufacturing by the iconic motorcycle maker.
The Modello Quattro U4-RE is designed to act as a symbol of the enduring spirit of adventure and craftsmanship that both Unimatic and Royal Enfield embody. Made in Italy, the military-inspired watch boasts a glossy black dive dial adorned with the bright red Royal Enfield logo, set against markers filled with Super-LumiNova GL old radium lume and accented with gold metallic elements, a nod to the classic golden pinstripes of Royal Enfield’s motorcycles.
Powering the watch is the Seiko NH35A automatic movement, providing reliability with a 41-hour power reserve and a hacking second hand. A standout feature is the 40mm stainless steel case with a heavy sandblasted finish, inspired by the textured surface of Royal Enfield’s engines.
The watch comes with both a black heavy-duty nylon NATO band and an additional cognac two-piece calf leather strap, each featuring black DLC brushed hardware with Unimatic branding. At the case back, wearers will find Royal Enfield’s slogan, “Made like a gun” and each piece’s unique serial number engraved.
Priced at €550 EUR or $589 USD, the Unimatic x Royal Enfield Modello Quattro U4-RE will become available to order via the watchmaker’s official site, today, November 9, through to November 16 or until sold out.
Elsewhere in watches, Grand Seiko attires an Elegance timepiece with the iconic Beads-Of-Rice bracelet.
