Disney and Marvel Studios‘ Thor: Love and Thunder is projected to open with $300 million USD in its global box office debut.
According to reports, the Taika Waititi-directed film is looking to earn around $140 million USD to $160 million USD in the United States and Canada, along with $150 million USD abroad. Its predecessor, Thor: Ragnarok, opened with $122.7 million USD domestically and closed up with $315 million USD and $854 million USD globally.
The upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film will see the debut of Natalie Portman‘s Jane Foster as Lady Thor and Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher.
Thor: Love and Thunder premieres July 8.
