South2 West8 has just unveiled its Fall/Winter 2021 lookbook, just a month after the Nepenthes label shared its SS21 imagery.
The collection features an expansive array of hi-tech outdoor garments made with vibrant patterns and oversized cuts: camo parkas, fleece zip-ups, trousers with tribal patterns, quilted jackets, tweed coach jackets, leopard cardigans, mohair sweaters, paisley-patterned long-sleeves, trucker hats, track pants and tote bags, to mention a few.
One noteworthy piece is a reconstructed nylon jacket emblazoned with bold tiger stripes. The piece’s collars come in dark green camo, complemented by a lighter shade of the same pattern right half of the body, while the left-half sees a gray-tinted monochromatic camo print. Another highlight is the label’s signature three-layer River Trek Jacket. This season is slightly more fitted compared to the previous SS21 and features a larger, more protective collar. The jacket’s light and breathable fabric is entirely waterproof, making it one of the label’s most functional offerings. Other pieces in the collection, like heavy-duty chore coats, mohair V-neck sweaters, charcoal gray flannels, wool trousers and accompanying accessories such as messenger bags and bucket hats round off the expansive assemblage.
