Sharon Osbourne, 70, reveals 30 pound Ozempic weight loss

Sharon Osbourne was pictured on Wednesday on a shopping trip, revealing the result of her recent 30-pound weight loss after admitting she ‘didn’t want to be this thin’.

The former X Factor judge and wife of Ozzy Osbourne, 70, has been open about noticeably losing weight in recent months after admitting to using Ozempic to help on her quest.

It’s usually offered as a treatment for people with type 2 diabetes, but some have been using the drug to lose weight and achieve new figures, like Sharon.

The mum-of-three and TalkTV star also recently claimed that she goes ‘three days a week without eating’.

Sharon hit the streets in the upmarket shopping district of Mayfair in a black suit, with her jacket bearing gold statement buttons in the shape of a shell and a lock, among other things, along her sleeves and down the centre.

She finished her look with a black scarf, sunglasses and a chic quilted leather handbag with gold hardware.

Joined by her daughter Aimee, 40, who wore a pinstripe jacket and green fuzzy neon scarf, Sharon strolled alongside her eldest child, who is more media-shy than her siblings Jack, 37, and 38-year-old Kelly.

Sharon was spotted smiling at a passer-by, as well as reapplying her lipstick in a store while she and Aimme looked over some potential purchases.

The media personality admitted this week that she skips meals during a conversation with Jack and Kelly on their family audio show, The Osbournes Podcast, shared with MailOnline.

Jack noted that the world would ‘descend into chaos’ if people were forced to go without nine meals in a row, saying: ‘When you break it down, you are nine meals away from complete and utter breakdown. That’s three days of breakfast, lunch and dinner. That goes away for people, they go three days without eating, they will murder each other, their neighbours, everything.’

Sharon then responded: ‘God, I do that every week. At least three days without eating.’

Their guest Jason Kennedy then added: ‘That’s called intermittent fasting.’

This revelation came after Sharon admitted earlier this month that she believes she’s lost too much weight.

Showing her trimmed-down figure on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Sharon admitted: ‘It’s just time to stop, I didn’t actually want to go this thin, but it just happened.’

‘I’ll probably put it all on again soon!’ she added.

In an interview earlier this year, Sharon revealed she’d shed 30 pounds (two stone) thanks to the drug.

Drugs such as Ozempic and the prescription medication Wegovy have controversially come to the forefront of public consciousness after some celebrities and influencers have pushed it as a ‘quick and easy’ way to lose a few pounds.

However, these drugs are meant to only be used for people with diabetes, with a shortage now being sparked by others trying to secure a supply.

Previously Sharon, who has since stopped taking the drug, said she didn’t want her use of it to be a ‘dirty little secret’.

She also insisted using Ozempic to lose weight wasn’t ‘cheating’, and said that people should ‘lighten up’ about the use of the drug.

She told MailOnline: ‘People think that it’s a way of cheating, because you didn’t work out for three hours a day, or you don’t have some brilliant new trainer so you’re cheating. It’s not cheating.

‘It’s just something that you choose to lose weight. So, what is the biggie? I don’t get it.’

Sharon Osbourne’s reps previously declined to comment when approached by Metro.co.uk.
