Canadian jewelry brand Pearls Before Swine gives defective metals a new lease on life. The label’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection has arrived, looking to 1970s California coastlines and abandoned international structures for inspiration.
Pearls Before Swine’s FW23 offering heads underground, recalling Cornwall’s Iron Age tunnels constructed over two thousand years ago. Santa Monica Surfers are referenced across easy-going designs, while British Columbia’s Kamloops trails are studied through detailed ornamentation.
Cornwall’s Fogou networks are cemented onto uneven Nara, Draug, Corpus, and Junde rings, seeing salvaged snake chains collide on the Uppat pendant. New Jersey’s hardcore music scenes move into oversized silver pieces, while others are fitted with diamonds and precious gemstones.
