The food seen in Studio Ghibli‘s Laputa: Castle in the Sky is the focus of the latest cookbook in the famed Ghibli’s Dining Table franchise.
The 64-page cookbook features recipes for some of Laputa: Castle in the Sky’s most mouthwatering dishes, such as Sheeta and Pazu’s fried egg on bread and the stew seen on the Tiger Moth airship. In addition, original recipes such as Air Pirates’ Grilled Meat Skewers, Children’s Sangria and Levitation Stone Amber Sugar are also included for fans to try out.
The Laputa: Castle in the Sky cookbook follows October 2022’s My Neighbour Totoro cookbook and April 2021’s Earwig and the Witch, the latter of which was the first in the series.
The cookbook releases August 19 for ¥1,760 JPY (approximately $10 USD) and is available for purchase via Amazon and Rakuten.
In other Ghibli news, Ghibli Park’s Mononoke Village and Valley of Witches have received opening dates.
