'Mobile Suit Gundam 00' Is Receiving New CG Anime Project 'Revealed Chronicle'

15 years after Mobile Suit Gundam 00 premiered, the popular Gundam arc is now receiving yet another anime project.

Named Revealed Chronicle, the new anime will use CG graphics as opposed to its previous animation styling, with original director Seiji Mizushima reuniting with other staff members including screenwriter Yosuke Kuroda, sci-fi writer Tomohiro Chiba, character designer Yun Kouga, musical director Masafumi Mami, and mechanical designers Kanetake Ebikawa and Takayuki Yanase.

The project was announced during the latest “Gundam Figures Live!!!” event and its story will help fill in gaps in the original two-season anime, especially in the period between the two seasons. It’ll also reveal the secret behind the legendary Double Drive and the missing link to the GN Drive, and as you’d expect, there’ll also be new mobile suits for Setsuna and the rest of his Celestial Being crew, one of which (Devise Exia) was showcased in more detail after the announcement of the anime during the presentation.

Unfortunately, there’s no release date yet for Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Revealed Chronicle, but the Devise Exia Metal Build figure is scheduled to arrive in October. Stay tuned for more updates come.

Elsewhere in entertainment, Daniel Radcliffe says he’s “not interested” in starring in a Harry Potter and the Cursed Child film.
