Robert “3D” Del Naja of the legendary British trip-hop collective Massive Attack is the latest artist to come to the aid of Ukraine. Largely accredited as a pioneer of graffiti art in his hometown of Bristol, 3D is currently holding a 14-day sale of a new art print with all proceeds going to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC)’s Ukrainian humanitarian appeal.
The latest print, scheduled to release tomorrow, joins another work 3D has been selling since last week, which has raised over £110k GBP since. Emblematic of his stance against a number of social issues, 3D has been vocal about his solidarity with the Ukrainian people amidst Russia’s invasion. In response to the humanitarian crisis caused by the war, the artist criticized the British government’s response to the growing number of refugees, by posting several photos on Instagram that showed the Ukrainian flag, with the following message: “DON’T WAVE FLAGS / WAVE VISAS.”

The upcoming print features Ukraine’s national colors prominently blended within 3D’s signature collage-like abstraction. Sizing at roughly 27 x 27 inches, the archival pigment print will be available to purchase for £150 GBP / $195 USD via Fire Sale starting tomorrow, March 15 at 6am EST until March 22, 2022.
