Man who has Phillip Schofield's face tattooed on bum has no regrets

A man who had Phillip Schofield’s face tattooed on his bum doesn’t regret getting the ink despite recent drama.

Stockton-on-Tees native Matty O’Hagan drew headlines way back in 2017 when he went viral for his unique tattoo – a portrait of the former This Morning presenter’s face on an intimate area.

And while there’s been some drama around Phillip in recent weeks – namely, him leaving ITV after admitting to lying about an affair with a young runner on the daytime show – Matty has ‘no regrets’ and isn’t planning on getting it removed.

He told BirminghamLive: ‘I don’t have any regrets about getting the tattoo.

‘It has all been a madness to be honest.’

He admitted the affair scandal didn’t bother him too much, as while he ‘doesn’t agree with the age gap … Phil and his colleague were both adults, so in that sense it was up to them.’

Matty’s been in the news before for his tattoo and even appeared on CelebrityJuice in 2017 where he first revealed the ink on his bum.

He told The Sun at the time that he got the tattoo in response to his flatmate Lee getting Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly tattooed on his bum.

Eager to outdo him, he spent three hours with tattooist Steve Bell getting both This Morning presenters – Phil and Holly Willoughby – onto his cheeks.

Tattooist Steve admitted at the time it was ‘by far the strangest request’ for a tattoo he had ever had.

Holly and Phil themselves are very much aware of the tattoo, and were in stitches laughing at it when they showed the rude ink on an episode of This Morning in 2020.

In a September episode – when things were still very much doom, gloom and lockdown – the TV duo had audiences in bits as they showed a snap of the tattoo on the daytime show with Holly revealing: ‘Our faces are tattooed on someone’s bottom, we found it, one on each cheek.’

And Phil added: ‘He just did it for the craic.’ (Or in this case, crack.)
