London-based maharishi has followed up the release of its MILTYPE collection earlier this month with the launch of its contemporary Technical Riverine capsule.
Inspired by the military apparel worn by the U.S. Navy Riverine units throughout the 1960s, maharishi delivers a selection of utility shirts, cargo pants and smocks, all of which have been updated for Spring/Summer 2021.
Housing new features like adjustable mesh gaiters, pre-formed leg articulation and integrated jacquard webbing belts, garments have received a mature, eastern twist, most notably in the Tech Kimono — which fuses the U.S. Army ECWS Parka and the traditional Kimono.
Recycled micro-ripstop — which is both water-resistant and quick-drying — has been naturally dyed and used throughout the collection, while panels of reinforced Italian nylon create an innovative heat regulation system and faster sweat evaporation.
The full maharishi Technical Riverine capsule is available to buy now from the brand’s online webstore.
