Katie Price has never listened to a podcast – as she prepares to launch podcast

Katie Price is giving a go at hosting her own podcast, despite never having listened to a single podcast in her life.

The mum-of-five has long been a staple on British TV and newspapers, having made a name for herself as a page 3 model before going on to appear in I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!, where she met future ex-husband Peter Andre.

Since then the OnlyFans model has appeared in multiple reality shows, revolving around everything from her marriage to Peter to the upkeep of her ‘Mucky Mansion’ home and how she deals with trauma and her mental health.

Now Katie is trying her hand at podcasting – but is going into the industry as a total newbie.

The 45-year-old is preparing to launchThe Katie Price Show, which is due to release this summer.

And while she has previously appeared as a guest on other podcasts, she has never – never – listened to an episode of a podcast herself.

The star made the honest admission during a Q&A at The Podcast Show 2023, which is all about, well, you can guess.

She was asked by journalist Mary Mandefield which podcasts she was currently enjoying in the lead-up to the launch of her own, to which Katie replied: ‘You’ll hate me for this.’

‘I have never listened to a podcast in my life,’ she said, as the room rumbled with laughter from attendees.

‘I actually haven’t. I wouldn’t know how to download it.’

Asked if she would listen to her own podcast, Katie shrugged: ‘No, I’m just going to know what I’m going to say.’

Katie’s …. unique approach to launching her own podcast despite not knowing how to even ‘download’ one has already paid off, as fans are calling her ‘iconic’ for her blasé attitude.

The former glamour model was ordered to carry out 170 hours of unpaid work and handed an 18-month community order after pleading guilty to breaching a restraining order last year.

Meanwhile, her middle children Junior, 17, and Princess, 15, who she shares with ex Peter, are embarking on careers of their own.

Junior has launched his own music career, while Princess signed a contract with PrettyLittleThing which sees her model their clothing on her Instagram.
