JDM model car fans will be excited to learn that Hasegawa is putting out the STP Team Taisan GT-R Skyline. The 1/24-scale model features the red/black Taisan Advan-STP livery and numerous details that make up the 1991 Group A race car.
This version is based on the 1993-spec second-round JTC (All Japan Touring Car Championship) winning vehicle, where it was driven by Kenji Takahashi and Keiichi “Drift King” Tsuchiya. The model contains 135 parts with a great deal of detail going into the suspension, wiper blade, bucket seats, front mount intercooler, wheels, roll cage, disc brakes, and dashboard. Priced at ¥3,400 JPY ($33 USD), look for the STP Taisan Nissan GT-R from Hasegawa to launch on January 16.
