The hot weather days of Summer are quickly approaching, and cool clothing is going to be more necessary than ever. Thankfully, fragment design and Burtle Workwear have put their heads together and crafted a new collaborative vest that is not only utilitarian in style but extremely functional.
From the front angle, the piece looks like any other utility vest that you may have seen before as it comes dressed in all-black and features a set of five pockets for you to stash all of your smaller essentials, all of which are built with a 4-way stretch cloth that’s high in elasticity. Skewed to the left side of the chest is a circular UE and fragment spell out that is dyed in bright blue font. However, the most interesting detail on this garment is on the back side. Towards the bottom, you’ll find a duo of 13V high-performance fans that are activated by squeezing the drawcord on the interior side of the hem. Packaged with the ventilated product is a battery that can be charged up from a PC with the included USB cord and last up to seven hours.
Sophnet — at the time of writing — has this listed as a “Coming Soon” product that retails for ¥41,800 (approx. $384 USD) so be sure to keep an eye out on their store just in case it becomes available soon.
Elsewhere in the realm of Hiroshi Fujiwara, detailed shots of the fragment design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG have surfaced.
