For those who can’t wait to get back out onto the dance floor, fear not — Balenciaga has you covered with its new glow-in-the-dark capsule collection. Perfect for big nights in or the eventual nightclub party, this Demna Gvasalia-designed capsule comprises T-shirts, baseball caps, pool slides, and socks, making for more than enough vividity in your life.
The capsule collection was teased earlier this month on Balenciaga’s Instagram account, showing a model sporting glowing teeth as if they’d just been whitened. However, as expected with its normcore-esque approach to social media, nothing is quite what it seems and indeed the capsule is now expected to drop later today, presenting a host of rave-appropriate gear.
For its T-shirts (especially those served in white), you can barely see the design before it’s glowing. However, once the pieces are exposed to any light source, the glow-in-the-dark prints and designs will be activated. The white T-shirts will naturally glow in that bright blue hue they depict under UV light, while the smiley face will appear in a neon green light like a glowstick-made drawing.
