Adele will reportedly be the final star ever to belt along to tunes in Carpool Karaoke for James Corden’s last The Late Late Show.
The Gavin and Stacey actor, 44, announced his departure from the CBS series last year, after around eight years in the hot seat.
As he prepares for his final episodes, it appears the Mammals star has booked an icon to sign off Carpool Karaoke for the final time.
The Someone Like You singer, 34, is no stranger to the singalong having appeared in the beloved segment back in 2016.
The Hello hitmaker, who went for a spin in the car in London before her move to LA, belted out her own songs, as well as the Spice Girls, while downing a mug of tea.
And now Adele is thought to be back for more singing fun, having been seen filming in a car alongside James in pictures obtained by the Daily Mail.
Hopefully, Adele will showcase a new track after it was reported she is getting ready to release a new album.
According to The Sun, Adele has been working on the new album for a year, with sources saying it has the ‘most uplifting and positive songs’ she has ever written.
The pop icon is in talks about dropping the surprise album this year, the outlet claimed.
Kim Kardashian is also rumuored to be one of the final guests after she was seen laughing with James in Malibu with a film crew in tow.
In the pictures, they could be seen perusing the aisles of a petrol station, while the mom-of-four took the opportunity to try on hats.
James previously spoke about his decision to leave the show, telling Drew Barrymore: ‘Look it’s not easy in any way to walk away from something that is so… I mean I’ll never work in a better environment than the one I work in now.
‘Nothing about leaving the show was to do with not enjoying it. I love it, but the truth is it became a very easy decision because I always knew it was an adventure and I never ever considered it to be the final destination.’
The Late Late Show with James Corden airs on CBS in the US.
