Record label and management company 88rising has teamed with the ceramicists at YEENJOY STUDIO for a special “Double Dragon” incense chamber. Made entirely of delicate porcelain and limited to a scant 300 units, the intricate incense holder is inspired by the iconography of Chinatowns across the USA and even comes accompanied by a special t-shirt.
Standing just under a foot and a half tall at its highest point, the chamber cuts an imposing figure with two serpentine dragons coiled around the sides of its rectangular centerpiece. This center structure is embellished with Chinese characters plus co-branded 88rising and YEENJOY STUDIO text hits. It also features holes on its top and sides so the sweet smoke from the incense chamber it houses can seep out into the owner’s room. To place incense in the chamber, all one needs to do is remove the top assemblage from its base, then replace it once loaded. The accompanying t-shirt is done up in black and places a full-color print of the incense chamber on its chest, surrounded by lightning bolts plus gold “Double Dragon” characters and Chinese text.
The 88rising x YEENJOY STUDIO “Double Dragon” incense chamber is available at HBX now, and is priced at $500 USD.
