Princess Eugenie celebrated her birthday and thanked all her well-wishers with the best gift: a new photo of her son, August (full name: August Philip Hawke). In a celebratory Instagram post, Eugenie shared a photo of her husband, Jack Brooksbank, baby August, and a very cute personalized sweater embroidered with the newborn's name. Eugenie and Brooksbank welcomed the baby boy back on February 9.
"Thank you for the birthday love yesterday," she captioned the photo, adding a heart emoji. "I got the best present I could ask for!!"
A source told People that Eugenie is "doing really well" after her C-section. The source added that Eugenie "sounded very content and said the baby is a complete dream!"
The royal family wished Eugenie a happy birthday on social media earlier this week. Queen Elizabeth II posted a special message on Instagram, writing, "Wishing Princess Eugenie a very happy birthday today."
Eugenie and Brooksbank were married back in 2018. August is their first child together. The family currently lives in Frogmore Cottage, a home near Windsor Castle that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stayed in after their wedding.
