Lady Gaga Is Having Our Dream Italian Wedding to Adam Driver for House of Gucci

Here comes the bride.

Lady Gaga was photographed today on the set of her upcoming crime drama, House of Gucci, wearing a stunning, vintage-inspired bridal gown. Per People, the scene appears to be recreating Patrizia Reggiani’s 1973 wedding, when she married Maurizio Gucci (played by Adam Driver), Guccio Gucci’s grandson.

In the images, Gaga cozies up to her movie husband and wears a white gown fashioned in an A-line silhouette complete with lace floral detailing, a sweetheart neckline, sheer long sleeves, and a coordinating veil and lush bouquet. Her bridal look is paired with white heels, minimal jewelry, and a sophisticated updo.

Yesterday, the pop star was photographed again in character. In those photos, Gaga wears an oversized, ultra-luxe, cream-colored fur coat layered over a belted, lace-embellished white dress with matching pointed-toe pumps. And the actress’s voluminous brunette tresses are styled into tight curls, complete with bangs, to embody her character’s signature beauty look.

The upcoming drama is based on Sara Gay Forden’s book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed and will focus on the murder of Maurizio Gucci (played by Adam Driver), fashion designer Guccio Gucci’s grandson. Gaga’s Reggiani, Maurizio’s ex-wife, was imprisoned for organizing his assassination.

While shooting on location in Italy, we’ve be fortunate to get several glimpses at the film’s fashion, including sneak peeks of Gaga and Driver sporting chic ski attire, preppy plaid numbers, and even rowboat-appropriate Burberry on Lake Como.

While completing production abroad, Gaga has been working on additional projects. Just this week, the star was announced as the new face and creative partner for Dom Pérignon champagne, releasing a stunning Nick Knight–directed fashion film titled The Queendom along with it.

Gaga also designed and released a limited-edition fuchsia bottle of the bubbly (price available upon request), with proceeds benefiting the singer’s Born This Way Foundation.
