Kylie Jenner has been dramatically transforming her hair for years with the help of wigs and extensions. One day, it’s long and pink; the next day, it’s honey blonde. But what does her hair actually look like without anything attached to or covering it? It’s very, very short, Jenner revealed last night on her Instagram Story. And no, it’s not black. Right now, there’s blonde in it. The reality star shared footage of her getting her roots touched up, then shared a better glimpse at her hair’s real length while she was in the process of dyeing it. “Roots almost there,” she wrote:

Her hair change comes amid reports that Jenner may have officially reconciled with her ex-boyfriend Travis Scott a month ago. TMZ initially reported that yes, Jenner and Scott are back on. Multiple sources claimed to the outlet that “Kylie and Travis are back together romantically but they’re not quite ready to put a title on their relationship, even though they regularly sleep under the same roof, share a child and don’t see other people.”
Then a separate source told TMZ that actually, no, they are not dating. The outlet updated its story, writing, “another source close to the couple tells us the two are simply coparenting and support each other as friends. The source says Travis and Kylie are not currently linked romantically.”
TMZ’s report is pretty much in line with what People. They aren’t together, a source told the outlet, but the possibility remains open in the future. “Things are great with Kylie and Travis,” People‘s source said. “They are very happy. Kylie still isn’t labeling their relationship. It seems they aren’t seeing other people, though.”
