Kate Ferdinand’s son Cree, one, tells star ‘love you’ in heart-melting moment

Kate Ferdinand has shared the heartwarming moment her one year old son Cree tells her he "loves her".

Already a stepmother to her husband Rio Ferdinand's children Lorenz, 15, Tate, 13, and Tia, 10, the former The Only Way Is Essex star welcomed her first child with the footballer in December 2020

And in a new post shared on her Instagram on Tuesday morning, the 30 year old delightedly shared a voice recording of her prompting her young bundle of joy to say "love you".

Little Cree immediately responded by attempting to say the word "love you" back in the short clip.

Writing in the caption, doting mother Kate said: "I've listened to this 1000 times."

Her social media followers were quick to comment on the moment, with one person writing: "The best words ever."

Another said: "So cute defo one to treasure."

A third added: "Ah bless him, so cute," while a fourth wrote: "This is heartwarming. What a beautiful child you have xxx."

Kate is back to feeling herself after catching COVID following the Christmas period.

The beauty appeared to be inundated with concerned messages about her whereabouts after having not posted on social media for a while.

On Monday evening, she eased her followers' worries as she took to her Instagram Story to reveal she had fallen poorly.

"Thank you for all your messages checking, I appreciate you all," Kate began. "I've been fine, I had COVID (I had to isolate) and then have been enjoying getting back to normal life and spending time with my family."

She then shared a snap of herself enjoying a leisurely stroll, captioning it: "Took for granted going on a walk, wow, I miss them!"

The fitness enthusiast also revealed she was back at the gym after a fortnight off.

Sharing a snap of herself lifting weights, she candidly explained: "First day back at the gym post COVID. I've had around 14 days out.

"Wow it was so hard, breathless and a real lack of enthusiasm today, but we got it done."

Earlier this month, Kate discussed in detail how she has found it being part of a blended family on the community page she set up on Instagram surrounding the topic.

"Sometimes, no matter how hard we try to feel a part of our partners & children's life, we at times can feel like an outsider," she wrote.
