Jess Wright edits Nanny Pat into bump kissing snap in sweet tribute 6 years after death

Jessica Wright has paid an emotional tribute to her late grandmother Nanny Pat on the sixth anniversary of her passing.

A cast member favourite on ITVBe's The Only Way Is Essex, Nanny Pat passed away at the age of 80 on 16th December 2015.

And in a new post shared to her Instagram on Thursday morning, the pregnant star, who recently enjoyed her honeymoon in Dubai with her new husband William Lee Kemp, pined for her late grandmother to meet her future child.

Alongside a sweet black and white illustration of Nanny Pat kissing her bump, Jess penned: "Our last chat together will always remain in my heart."

The brunette continued: "You were truly the best & taken too soon Nan. I wish you could meet my baby so much.

"Love you always my angel 6 years today," she concluded with an angel and red heart emojis.

Jess' younger sister Natalya Wright, 21, commented: "Made me tearful."

Frankie Essex wrote: "Such a beautiful lady she would be so proud of you Jess."

Others also left comments of support, with one person penning: "Nanny pat would've been so happy and proud of you."

Another wrote: "6 years wow, she really did capture us all back then"

A spokesperson released a statement at the time of Nanny Pat's death, which read: "Sadly our amazing, courageous and beautiful Nanny Pat passed away this morning after a short illness.

"We are overwhelmed by sadness, and the whole family ask for privacy at this horrible time."

Meanwhile, it has been a celebratory few months for Jess, who tied the knot with 34 year old businessman William back in September.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that the stunning reality star was expecting her first child.

Jess announced the happy news as she shared a black and white photograph of her bump. "Beyond grateful for this blessing," she wrote on Instagram before adding that she's due next spring.

A source told new! about the news: "Jess is over the moon.

"Having a baby means so much to her. She's finally got her fairy-tale ending. Getting married and starting a family is what she's wanted more than anything.

"Her mum Carol is delighted as well. Her younger brother Josh is also having a baby, so she can't wait to become a grandma."
