“Three three boys in lockdown. I mean, it’s chaos. absolute chaos. I’m not gonna lie. And my kids are quite feral as well.

“They’re not like these quiet little boys that will sit and play with trains. They’re feral.”

Charley, who recently opened up on plans for a fourth child, and her husband Matthew Wolfenden both star in Emmerdale together, but the mum-of-three admitted that it helps they don’t film scenes together.

She explained: “I think to be honest when we’re filming, we’re separate. So it kind of works that when he’s filming, I’m not.

“We’ve just started our own business so we’re not giving ourselves any breaks.”

It comes after Charley admitted she doesn’t let her children watch the soap she and hubby Matthew, 40, star in.

She told The Sun: “As the kids are young, I don't let the kids watch it really so I'll have to catch up a few days later.

“Bowie's still a bit young to understand so we never have it on when they're around.”

It comes after Charley, who recently launched her own toy brand, made a shock comeback to Emmerdale recently.

Charley has played Debbie Dingle for 18 years, but shortly after welcoming her son Ace in August 2019 she admitted she had no plans return to the Yorkshire-based soap.

The actress shocked soap fans as she was unveiled as Al Chapman’s mystery woman, who he had been cheating with behind fiancée Priya Sharma's back.

Soap star Charley also admitted she struggled to keep her comeback a secret as she said: “It's been hard keeping filming a secret.

“I only told my close friends and family so there was less chance of it getting out.”

While she added: “I've known for a while that this would be part of her return.

“Jane Hudson our Executive Producer told me when we had a meeting to discuss me coming back.

“I'm really pleased and it's great we managed to keep it a secret, it's always nice for the audience to get a surprise.”
