Emily Osment & Gregg Sulkin To Star In New Comedy Series For Netflix

Emily Osment and Gregg Sulkin are reuniting for a new comedy series on Netflix!

It was just announced that the two former Disney Channel stars will lead a new 10-episode multi-cam comedy, according to Deadline.

The untitled project “centers on a snooty, self-proclaimed intellectual (Osment) forced to move in with her carefree sister and her sister’s lovably eccentric friends, one of them played by Sulkin.”

Emily will play Chelsea, “an Ivy league educated intellectual who is book-smart and quick witted but lacks the real world skills she needs to have a functional life. She finds herself living in LA without any options other than her bubbly sister, Claire, and Claire’s roommates.”

Gregg will take on Grant, a “romantic, genuinely sweet, and an often shirtless personal trainer. He has a childlike curiosity about the world and is the kind of guy women love and men… also love! He used to date Claire, but now they’re ‘just friends.’”

“Beyond excited to join the @netflix family & work with my incredibly talented friend @emilyosment !!! Very honored & grateful to our wonderful producers Jack Dolgen, Doug Mand & Kourtney Kang. I cannot wait to be directed by the legendary Pamela Fryman. Excited to bring some laughs to your Netflix account later this year!” Gregg excitedly wrote on Instagram.

The new series comes from Doogie Kamealoha, MD creator Kourtney Kang, Jack Dolgen and Doug Mand, who will all executive produce. Jack and Doug created and wrote the project.

Emily and Gregg previously worked together on an episode of her series Young & Hungry. He guest starred on the episode “Young & Assistant” in season four. He was a neighbor and love interest for Aimee Carrero‘s Sofia.
