Dane Bowers has revealed he "grovelled" to Love Island star Laura Anderson before they got back together as Laura had her reservations about giving things another go with the Another Level singer.
Speaking exclusively to new! magazine this week, Dane explained: “I was very embarrassed about how I handled the situation all those years ago and I had to do a bit of grovelling and making up. It’s been a humbling thing and made me realise how much I do really love her.
"For her to go back to an ex after I did the bad thing, well it’s been hard for Laura to forgive. She’s put me through the wringer a bit, but she’s a very kind and giving person.”
Laura initially dumped Dane. 41, back in 2018 after she found out he’d been cheating on her. Following their split, former air hostess Laura, 32, went on to find fame in the Love Island villa in the summer of 2018.
After meeting up while Laura was in Dubai over Christmas and finding out they were both due to appear on Ex On The Beach together, the couple bonded again. T
he show never got to be made thanks to Covid-19 restrictions, but Laura and Dane have rekindled their romance any way and are now living together in Dubai with Laura’s dog, Buddy.
An exclusive new! photoshoot accompanies their first ever interview as a couple. Laura told us that Dane had proved to her that he has changed since their last go at a relationship and she now believes she is his “priority.”
She added: “We’d had sex once after getting back together and he was like, ‘I love you.’”
Laura sparked speculation that she’d reunited with singer Dane after she posted pictures of the couple celebrating her 32nd birthday in April.
The Love Island star celebrated her special day in style after the Another Level singer, 41, treated her to a super romantic ride in a hot air balloon.
Laura recently gave her followers a tour of the couple’s new home. Laura explained the pad is situated in the residential neighbourhood of Mudon, and described how she was trying to keep her cool and not get “stressed” during the unpacking.
The Scottish native gave a tour of the living area which featured cream marble flooring and a huge rustic round coffee table in the centre while brown boxes were piled high around the room.
