Coronation Street’s Billy actor Daniel Brocklebank finds love after co-star spit

Coronation Street actor Daniel Brocklebank appears to have found love again. The actor who plays Billy Mayhew on the cobbles is dating police officer and musician Jordan Coulthard.

Daniel, 43, has been pictured with his new partner at the Lytham Festival alongside a number of soap stars. Former EastEnders actress Cheryl Fergison shared a selfie of the trio on Instagram.

Cheryl captioned the post: "Met some Corrie pals, @tonymaudsley1 @danielbrocklebank and his fella @_coulthard what an eve x.” Jordan also shared some images of himself with Daniel's co-stars on the social media platform.

He appeared to be making friends as he shared one of him alongside Samia Longchambon who plays Maria in Corrie saying: "sorted your fringe out a few times love @samia_longchambon." With the 40 year old replying to say: "You did a great job #fringewatch" with a series of emojis including a laughing one and a red heart.

Jordan also shared a lovely photo of him with Cheryl Fergison admitting that he is a fan of EastEnders. He told his seven thousand followers: "As an EastEnders fan, It was lovely to meet @cherylfergison1 however, I was taken aback when she told me she was a fan of me and my music!? Goodness. Thank You! Much Love!"

Daniel's new man works as a policeman but he is also trying to make his way in the music industry. Last year his single Miracle climbed higher in the charts than Mariah Carey.

This outing is the first time that the new couple have been pictured together, and it is unclear how long they have been seeing each other for. However, earlier this year Daniel started to like Jordan's social media posts.

It is also thought that Jordan is Daniel's first partner since his split from Stuart Hatton in 2019. Before Stuart Daniel was with his fellow co-star Rob Mallard.

Daniel and Rob, who plays Daniel Osbourne in the ITV soap, were dating for a number of months in 2017 before they split.

Back in 2014, Daniel first appeared on the famous street, and now he has become part of the furniture as the resident vicar. At the moment his on-screen character, Billy, is supporting his partner Paul after he was diagnosed with Motor neurone disease.

Paul has struggled to come to terms with his diagnosis but Billy has stood by his side and is now doing all he can to help his boyfriend. In recent scenes, Billy asked Paul to get baptised as thoughts began to turn towards the end.
