Speaking about her new EP ‘Like..?’ and upcoming full-length album in an interview with Ebro Darden, the ‘Bikini Bottom’ raptress appears to subtly hint at her sexuality as she reveals her type.
AceShowbiz –Ice Spice isn’t that picky when it comes to her love life. While she prefers to stay out of trouble and lives a peaceful life, the raptress reveals that she likes both “boys” and “girls,” as long as they’re “good.”
The 23-year-old sat down with Ebro Darden on Apple Music 1 to talk about her music and a bit of her dating life. When asked if she likes gangsters, she said she’s never been with one. Noting that she doesn’t go for “squares,” she admits to fancying “good boys and girls.”
Speaking of her newly-released debut EP “Like..?”, Ice said, “I’m just going with it. Those are six songs that I already made.” She added of her vision as an artist, “So, we pushing that right now. Fans going to eat that up. And then, it is always time to evolve and grow as an artist.”
“So, I’m not rushing to jump into another sound or rushing to do something different. If it happens, it happens. I just want everything to be natural,” the “Bikini Bottom” raptress shared. “I just love it. Nah, not in any hurry. I know I’m here for a good time and a long time.”
Asked when her full-length debut album will arrive, Ice promised, “The album? Most likely this year.” She further teased about the project, “Since I’m going to have ten songs, something like that or whatever, definitely going to be different vibes in there, for sure.”
She, however, stopped short before spilling more details of the upcoming effort. “I don’t want to talk too much on it because…you feel me? Got to keep the secret sauce a secret,” so she claimed.
Her music aside, not much is known about Ice’s dating life. Last year, she sparked dating rumors with Drake following several outings together. However, the Canadian star later unfollowed her on Instagram.
Recently, Ice, whose real name is Isis Gatson, clarified that there’s no bad blood between her and Drake despite his social media activity. “We’re cool,” she told The New York Times. “We spoke after that a couple times and we’re good. There’s no beef.”
Back in 2021, she also hinted at her sexuality as she tweeted, “what’s it called when you’re attracted to masculinity in women and femininity in men.” When someone suggested that she might be “bisexual,” the femcee replied, “purr.”
