Behind-the-scenes at Danielle’s Lloyd’s pink-themed baby shower before birth of baby girl

Danielle Lloyd has given OK! a behind the scenes look at her baby shower.

The 37-year-old had a fabulous time at the bash, which was held just weeks away from welcoming her baby girl.

Celebrating with her 40 guests, Danielle played baby-themed games including Pin the Dummy on the Baby and also enjoyed Japanese canapés at the Nuvo bar in Birmingham.

Making the most of the occasion, the expectant mum, who has sons Archie, 11, Harry, 10, and George, eight, from her previous marriage, and Ronnie, four, with her now husband Michael O'Neil danced the night away as a DJ took to the decks.

“My feet were killing, so my friend Aaron walked to a hotel over the road and asked if I could have a pair of their slippers,” she told us. “I ended up on the dance floor in a pair of slippers!”Danielle, who is 36 weeks pregnant with her fifth child, looked super glam in a tight-fitting white frock and sported a plaited hair piece as she posed for photos.

And despite having a long list of famous pals, Danielle told us the pink-themed party had a strict guest list of just family and friends.

"I didn’t invite any celebs as I wanted it to be personal to me," she explained.

"It’s hard when you haven’t seen some people for two years because of Covid, so I wanted to make sure I was able to spend time with them all."

As the days count down until her due date, Danielle also opened up about her daughter's name.

She recently told OK! she was "gutted" after Stacey Solomon chose the name Rose for her newborn, which was one of her and hubby Michael's "favourites."

But in our interview the former model explained it's still very much on their list.

"Michael wants Rose involved in the name somewhere, but we don’t know," she told us.

"We’ve got a shortlist of names and we’ll decide once we see her.

"When I looked at Ronnie, I just knew he was a Ronnie."

Danielle made no secret of the fact she wanted a daughter to join her crew of boys and even considered gender selection, before conceiving naturally with a girl.

"This baby will be the last – so it’s amazing that we’ve got our little girl," she said.
