Hailey Bieber gave her iconic glazed-doughnut nails a holiday spin. The entrepreneur attended a Christmas party for her beauty brand, Rhode, wearing a classic manicure that she aptly dubbed her “candy-cane glazed nails.”
The look was created by celebrity manicurist Zola Ganzorigt. Bieber’s nails were filed into a short oval shape and painted using the traditional “glazed” technique that the duo created earlier this year. However, instead of stopping at a few coats of the translucent color, a red french tip was added to each finger, which Bieber says was inspired by the look of a candy cane.
French manicures and glazed-doughnut nails have been two of the most popular nail looks of the year. The former has been spotted on everyone from Kim Kardashian to Ana de Armas and Selena Gomez. Since the latter skyrocketed in popularity, celebrities like Vanessa Hudgens and Anne Hathaway have worn the look.
Nail art is a rarity for Bieber, who usually opts to play around with only the finish of her nails. To get the design, Ganzorigt used the OPI Classic Gel Color in Big Apple Red and topped it with the accompanying Stay Shiny Top Coat.
