TUI launches huge summer 2024 flight sale with more than one million extra seats | The Sun

A MAJOR airline has added over one million extra flights to popular holiday destinations for next summer.

Tour operator TUI is also launching new routes at a number of airports across the UK in 2024.

Brits can already start looking forward to next summer with extra flights being added to destinations like Turkey and Spain.

The new flights will take off from regional airports such as Bristol, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Glasgow, and London Stansted.

TUI bosses confirmed an additional 250,000 seats to holiday hotspots like Turkey and Spain as well as Greece and Cyrpus.

A further 300,00 seats will also be added to routes in North Africa, while Italy and Croatia will see an extra 50,000 seats.

In total, there will be over 1.1 million new flights added to the travel company's schedule for next summer.

As well as an increase in flights from regional airports, new routes will also be added across the country.

Brit holidaymakers will be able to fly to Enfidha in Tunisia from Bournemouth Airport.

Manchester Airport will get new flights to Budapest in Hungary, while passengers from Newcastle will be able to fly to Cape Verde and Eygpt.

There will also be a new direct route to Sharm El Sheik in Egypt from Cardiff Airport.

In addition to the extra flights, there will also be new Marella Cruise itineraries.

Andrew Flintham, TUI managing director, said: "Our customers want more flexibility and to be able to choose a departure airport that is close to home – and that is exactly what the new TUI 2024 summer programme has been designed to do.

"We want every one of our customers to be able to create a holiday as unique as they are – departure airport, destination and duration are all key components which come together to make the perfect TUI holiday."

Other airlines and UK airports are also seeking to add to their flight schedules.

Manston Airport in Kent is hoping to relaunch flights to Europe – and flights could take just 15 minutes.

And Plymouth Airport hopes to reopen after being closed for more than a decade.
