BRITS have started returning to Spain as travel restrictions are eased in the UK, although there are still some rules in place abroad.

Here is everything you need to know about a holiday to the popular destination.

Can I go on holiday to Spain right now?

Spain is welcoming British tourists, so a holiday can go ahead.

However, there are a number of rules in place for anyone arriving from the UK.

All arrivals must be fully vaccinated, showing evidence of both jabs at least 14 days before entering the country.

Brits must also fill in the Spanish Health Control Form before travelling, and show the QR code on arrival.

Anyone between the ages of 12 and 15 does not have to be fully vaccinated, and can request an NHS Covid pass to travel.

If you have recovered from Covid in the past six months, you cannot use proof of recovery to enter Spain.

If travelling to the Balearic Islands and Canary Islands, you may also need a negative Covid test.

The UK has lifted most of their travel restrictions, as well as scrapped the controversial red list which required a mandatory quarantine.

Brits currently returning to the country no longer need a pre-arrival test taken beforehand.

Travellers only need to fill in a Passenger Locator Form, and take a lateral flow test within the two days of being back in the UK.

Airlines and tour operators are offering huge bargains to Spain right now.

EasyJet's current sale has flights to Spain for just £9.99, while British Airways has Spanish flights from £28.

Return tickets from London to Barcelona have dropped as low as £32, compared with the average £135 it cost in July 2019, according to The Telegraph.
