A NEW 'amazement park' is coming to South West England from the creative team behind the popular Boomtown festival.
Wake The Tiger is dubbed a 'fantastical experience' that will blur the lines between an art gallery, theme park and film set.
Promising to have a "playful psychedelic twist throughout", the amazement park is set to open in Bristol this summer.
The experience was created by a collection of over 100 artists including scenic artists, robotic experts, costume makers, architects, poets and prop makers.
On arrival at the Wake the Tiger amazement park, visitors will enter a secret portal into the world of Meridia.
Then guests face a multilayered maze of immersive environments, secret passageways, hidden forests, temples, ice caves and mesmerising wonders.

The official Wake the Tiger website describes the amazement park as being 'somewhere between Willy Wonka and Mad Max.'
Event producers have promised it will be an attraction for all ages – children, teenagers and adults alike – with all ages able to take away a different experience from the multi-layered attraction.
Wake the Tiger is expecting 300,000 visitors per year, and aims to generate at least 55 new jobs for local creatives, hospitality and production teams.
While there are currently no rides at the walkthrough experience, producers have promised vast expansions to the site in the future.
Wake the Tiger is produced by the team behind Boomtown festival – an immersive music festival held near Winchester, Hampshire.
Each year the festival transports revellers to other worlds in a dystopian set future.

This year's Boomtown festival promises to have recreated the perfect post-pandemic world.
In a change to the norm, they've decided to keep this year's line-up of musical acts a secret until just before the event takes place in August 2022.
Previous artists to perform at Boomtown include Ms. Lauryn Hill, The Streets, Groove Armada, and Madness.
