Inside the biggest Wetherspoons in the world – and it's right on the beach | The Sun
THE world's biggest Wetherspoons is situated right on the beach and offers great views as well as cheap pints.
A lot of Spoons pubs are well-known for their fancy redecorations and the biggest one is no different.
The Royal Victoria Pavilion in Ramsgate, Kent, was opened by HRH Princess Louise, Duchess of Argyll in 2017.
The Grade II listed building is a former dilapidated pavilion and had been one of the most at-risk Victorian/Edwardian buildings in the land.
It was originally built as a concert hall and assembly rooms and was designed by architect Stanley Davenport Adshead.
The interior is believed to have been inspired by the Little Theatre at Versailles before it was simplified in the 1930s.

The pub had also previously been used as both a nightclub, and casino before closing its doors in 2008.
It boasts 11,000 square feet of drinking space – including a huge terrace over the beach – and holds 1,500 punters, making it the biggest pub in Europe.
The company ploughed £4.5 million into the building, which lay derelict for decades.
Inside it features a high ceiling adorned with quirky hanging lights and a green, white and deep red theme, with accents of dark wood.
