A FORMER flight attendant has revealed the three ways to increase your chance of survival in a plane crash.
The advice was given in response to the plane crash in Miami in June, which saw the plane catch fire after the landing gear collapsed.
Thankfully no-one was killed but videos emerged of the fleeing passengers – with many seen with their luggage despite the emergency situation.
Ex-flight attendant Shawn Kathleen, who runs the Passenger Shaming account, wrote in a recent video: "Be. Prepared. During an emergency landing, one of the commands you will hear the crew yelling is “LEAVE EVERYTHING!”
"As you can see in this video, many passengers stopped during an emergency evacuation to gather their belongings.
"This is an ABSOLUTELY NOT. When your plane is on fire, you don’t even have seconds to start gathering your s*** – moreover the people behind you waiting don’t want to die so you can grab your clothing."

She also explained what to do as soon as you are off the plane.
She continued: "Once you have left the aircraft, run a safe distance away from the plane, and gather as a group to wait for emergency personnel.
"Don’t wander aimlessly around the tarmac. Get away from the plane and stay there."
She finished by saying to always listen to crew and the safety demonstration: "Tend to injuries as needed. Always listen to the crew during an evacuation.

Here are some other ways to make sure you survive a plane crash.
One thing you should never do is inflate your life jacket in the plane.
While it may seem obvious to some, a deadly plane crash saw 125 people die after ignoring the safety rule.
On November 23, 1996, Ethiopian Airlines flight 961 was hijacked, which resulted in a crash landing into the water.
However, passengers inside the cabin then inflated their life jackets while the plane was on the water.
The cabin then filled with water – leaving everyone trapped inside as their inflated life jackets meant they couldn't escape.
