Ellis Brigham Mountain Shuttle
If you’re spending your ski holiday at home this year, you’ll be glad to know of a new service that will transport skiers in Scotland to the resorts of Glencoe and Glenshee.
The Ellis Brigham Mountain Shuttle sets off from its store at XSITE Braehead (four miles from Glasgow airport) and runs on Saturdays and Sundays until the end of the season, avoiding the need to hire a car.
Return fares cost £25pp and you’ll be dropped right by the lift.

Val Thorens
C’est magnifique! Val Thorens has been chosen as France’s best ski resort for the ninth time at the World Ski Awards.
At 7,545ft, Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe but the area reaches up to 10,600ft at the peak of its skiable glaciers, Péclet and Thorens.
The resort’s stylish Hotel Pashmina also won best ski boutique hotel in France. If you fancy checking in yourself, rooms start at £230 per night.

Ikon Pass
This season, Ikon Pass holders can make bookings from a new service allowing them to explore options across destinations.
The pass is a multi-resort, unlimited ski and snowboard ticket, which holders can use at 47 winter resorts across the Americas, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
The new service allows holders to log into their account then browse air fares, hotels and activities across Ikon Pass destinations to create a customised travel package.
