ALTON Towers has announced new Christmas Markets coming to the theme park this month, just in time for the festive season.
The park has also teamed up with Lightopia to offer the largest light and lantern show in Europe.

Starting from November 27, the park will turn Towers Street into a winter wonderland with 60 Christmas markets.
They will be free to visit, with the stalls selling everything from gifts and crafts to food and drink.
Also new to the park this year will be the Lightopia light festival, the largest in Europe.
Guests will be able to walk the 2.3km through the seasons of winter, spring, summer and autumn, with 120 installations and on million light bulbs.
The Seasonal Wonderland trail will take guests on a 2.3km journey, with 120 different groups of lantern and light installations and more than one million LED light bulbs.

If you fancy making a holiday out of it, Alton Towers has family breaks on offer with an overnight stay at the hotel.

With the Christmas markets and light show included, the park's current deal also includes a stay at the Splash Landings Hotel.
It also includes breakfast and dinner, entry to the park and a visit to Santa's Grotto.
Based on a family of four, the deal starts from £480 – working out to £120 each.
