A little-known UK field that looks like a top European tourist attraction – but it's already sold out this summer | The Sun

A FIELD in the UK looks identical to a top European tourist attraction -but tickets for this summer have already sold out.

A colorful garden in the market town of King's Lynn resembles one of the Netherlands most famous attractions.

Described as "beautiful" and "absolutely stunning" by visitors, King's Lynn is home to an Instagram-worthy Tulip field.

For only two weeks in April and May, Norfolk Tulips opens its doors to guests who want to experience a taste of the Dutch countryside in the UK.

In recent years, day-trippers have taken to social media to share their experience of visiting the bright fields.

Adriana Neptuna posted a video on TikTok about her recent trip to the tulip fields.

Norfolk Tulips is a two-and-a-half-hour drive away from London.

But the site can be reached on a direct train from London Kings Cross to Kings Lynn station in Norfolk where day-trippers can take a taxi to the gardens.

We've found return train tickets for £45 for a full-paying adult who doesn't own a railcard.

Entry tickets cost £5 and all proceeds go to the Norfolk Hospice.

But this year's tickets have already sold out – while a total of 15,000 tickets went on sale, they were snapped up within an hour.

In a statement published in the Eastern Daily Press, Norfolk Hospice Tapping House said: "Thank you to everyone who has purchased tickets, the response has been extremely overwhelming.

"Over 80,000 people have tried to purchase tickets, and unfortunately, we cannot accommodate everyone."

If you're still trying to find tickets online, you'll need to be careful because fake tickets have been found in circulation.

Norfolk Hospice Tapping House added: "We have been made aware of people trying to resell their tickets, please be aware of who you are buying tickets from as some of these people are scammers."

These aren't the only fields in the UK where Brits can visit seasonal flowers in bloom.

The small market town of Hitchin has been linked to a French holiday hotspot for several years.

Hitchin Lavender has been dubbed "Little Provence" by visitors, and it's easy to see why.
