Woman mortified after hotel she booked for family turns out to be ‘sex hotel’

A woman was left mortified after she booked a room in a hotel stay for herself, her mum and her brother — only to find out the accommodation is commonly used for 'sex-cations.'

Nguyen, who posts on TikTok as @nyeatsbrown, took to the app with a video documenting her embarrassment after she received a voice note from a friend on WhatsApp to tell her she had booked a stay in a sex hotel by mistake.

The influencer had been invited to stay in the Mama Shelter hotel in Shoreditch, London by a PR agency, who apparently knew that she was going to be coming with her family but neglected to tell her about the hotel's reputation.

Thankfully, her family didn't end up going so when she found out she invited a friend and was trying to get another pal involved when they sent the voice message.

In the video, which has gained more than 50,000 likes, she said: "I've just checked into this hotel and they knew that I was coming with my mum and my little brother.

"Unfortunately, they cancelled yesterday so they couldn't make it anymore so my friend stepped in. I didn't let the hotel know as it was booked anyway, so it's fine.

"And in fact, one of my friends has just told me now that this one is a sex hotel."

Her pal then cackled on the voice message, telling her: "You do know that's a sex hotel."

It then dawned on her that her friend was right after she checked on Google and found out people go there for raunchy vacations.

She also noticed animal masks hanging on the lampshades and the hotel offered a sex toy box service.

Later on, she realised that when she checked in, she even neglected to notice a huge display of sex aids in a glass cabinet near the front desk.

She captioned the clip: "Pls imagine if I come here with my judgemental Asian mother and my 18-year-old brother. Seggs masks. A whole cabinet of toys and loobz at reception that I missed."

TikTok users were howling at the blunder, while also slamming the PR person who neglected to tell her that when she initially booked the room for her mum and brother to be staying with her.
