Popular American fried chicken chain Popeyes is set to launch its first UK outlet – and plans on hundreds more.
The KFC rival has announced it will open the first British branch by the end of 2021.
From there it’s aiming to open 350 locations across the UK over the next decade, reports The Sun.
The chain has successfully rolled out across Spain and Switzerland in the last two years, but sees Britain as the "next big opportunity”.
This means foodies will soon be able to chow down on the chicken shop’s famous sandwiches.
Popeyes started in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1972.

It’s well known for marinating its chicken for 12 hours in seasonings iconic to its home state – meaning it’s packed full of flavour.
And, look how crunchy that fried chicken looks… we are drooling.
In the US, the menu also includes boneless chicken, cajun crispy shrimp, popcorn shrimp, flounder sandwiches, family feasts, sides and more.
As of yet, the UK menu has not been announced.
Elias Diaz Sese, co-founder of Popeyes UK and a non-executive director at Dominos Pizza, said that the UK expansion could create hundreds of jobs.
He told PA: "It's difficult to say exactly what the scale will be right now, but we are looking to create hundreds of jobs in the restaurants and in the supply chain."
When it came to the first location plans weren’t solidified yet.

Elias said: "We can't confirm anything yet but we are most probably looking at opening a flagship site in London.
"There are great locations for opening across the country and we are looking at our options right now.
"We are definitely looking at both busy city centre locations and neighbourhood high streets."
Reportedly, both home delivery and takeaway will also be available when the brand launches in the UK.
