The supermarket giants Asda, Morrisons and Tesco have issued a product recall for customers. This affects children’s cups bought between November 2021 and January 2022.
Nuby Incredible Gulp Cup
The product has been voluntarily recalled due to a defect in some batches.
The issue could cause some parts of the cup to detach.
This would be a potential choking hazard for those using the product.
Those who have been shopping in Asda and Tesco stores should look out for the Unicorn, Dinosaur and Fox Nuby Incredible Gulp cups.
The recall affects products sold between November 1, 2021 and January 14, 2022.
The recalled batches have the batch codes WF10V and WG08V.
The items can be returned to stores for a full refund with no receipt required.

A statement from Asda said: “Nuby are voluntarily recalling the Nuby Incredible Gulp Cup due to a small number of defects on the spout and straw assembly, which in some instances means that the spout could detach when pulled with force and this could become a choking hazard.
“If you have purchased Nuby Incredible Gulp Cup with batch code WF10V or WG08V after the 1st November 2021, please bring it back to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund.
“You do not need your receipt.
“We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused. If you would like any further information, please contact:

“Asda Customer Relations – 0800 952 0101.”
A statement from Tesco continued: “If you’ve bought an affected product, please don’t use it.
“Instead, go to the Nuby UK website and fill in the product recall form to arrange for a return and refund.
“Alternatively, you can return it to a Tesco store where a full refund will be given.
“No receipt is required.”
Morrisons offered similar advice to customers. A statement on it’s website read: “Customers who have purchased this item from Morrisons during this period are asked to go to the Nuby UK website and follow recall prompts.
“No other Nuby Cups or Beakers are affected by this recall.
