Six times Kate Middleton and Princess Mary Of Denmark have matched their style

Kate Middleton is embarking on a Royal trip to Denmark this week in order to visit with The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

The trip, which starts on Tuesday 22 February and continues to Wednesday 23, will see the Duchess Of Cambridge bring her work with the foundation to an international stage to drive awareness on the extraordinary impact of the early years.

One thing we are guaranteed from the trip is a set of incredibly stylish outfits from the 40-year-old while she embarks on her public appearances – as the mum-of-three has built up quite the impeccable tour wardrobe over the years.

We will also get to see Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark and Kate reunite. They last saw one another at Royal Ascot in 2016 and we're excited for the possibility of a matching style moment.

There are multiple similarities between Kate and Mary as they both married into royal families as 'ordinary' people and are both now in line to eventually become Queen Consort. Appearance-wise, there are also canny resemblances as they also have long brown hair and similar figures.

But this isn't all, both ladies share their love of style and have experienced multiple twinning moments over the years.

The first style crossover shows one of Kate's more recent looks from when she attended the Royal Variety Performance back in November 2021.

The Duchess amped up the glamour on the red carpet in a gorgeous green embellished gown by her much-loved designer Jenny Packham. She also previously wore the gown during a royal visit to Pakistan in 2019.

Similarly, Princess Mary sported the exact same style for a photoshoot which were released by The Royal House of HRH The Crown Princess's 50th birthday but opted for a beautiful soft blush pink version. Simply Gorgeous.

Another winning twinning look shows the royal pair matching in a designer loved by both ladies, Beulah London.

Princess Mary wore the classic silhouette dress in a light nude shade for an exhibition opening in June 2020, which potentially could have sparked The Duchess to copy her style a year later.

Attending the men's single tennis finals at Wimbledon in 2021, Kate opted for a spring pink option of ladylike dress.

Stepping up their style game with yet another matching dress from Beulah London, the pair have both stunned in a patterned blue dress from the same brand.

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark looked radiant as she visited a community health centre in Indonesia in December 2019, whilst Kate chose to wear the same outfit for the NHS birthday celebrations at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in July 2020.

A fifth occasion where the stylish ladies have shown similar style credentials was in a classic silhouette heavily found in Kate's wardrobe. However, it seems she may have got the initial inspiration from Mary years before.

Back in March 2015, Princess Mary oozed regal sophistication in a pale blue, three quarter sleeve dress from Emilia Wickstead whilst in Tokyo.

Three years later, the Duchess wore the exact same style in a regal lilac colourway whilst attending London's Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit in October 2018.

As we know, Kate always dresses appropriately for the occasion, as seen back in December 2018 whilst attending a Christmas party for the Royal British Legion when she donned a super stylish red tartan skirt by Emilia Wickstead.

The Duchess of Cambridge then re-wore the item two years later in December 2020 for a Royal Train Tour of Cardiff & Bath.

Coincidently, a day before Kate stepped out in her tartan skirt in 2018, Mary sported an almost identical ensemble as she wore a fabulous red tweed skirt by one of Kate's most favourite designers, Alexander McQueen.

This wasn't the only time the pair shared their love of the winter-inspired pattern as they both donned the same green and blue style print in 2019.

The Duchess of Cambridge cut a stylish figure in January 2019 as she visited Scotland to open the new V&A Museum in an Alexander McQueen dress coat.

Princess Mary echoed this look a few months later during a tour of Texas in a remarkably similar style.

Whilst both ladies don't share the same stylist and team of dressers, they do however have the exact same jobs as one another, so it's no wonder that they take style inspiration from each other.

Just like the public are influenced by their style, it seems that the royal ladies are also royal fashion influencers to one another, too.
