J.Crew may sell plenty of all-American styles, but the British royals are famously fans of the brand.
Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry frequently take a break from styles that break the bank, with J.Crew as one of their slightly more affordable go-tos.
And with almost everything on J.Crew’s site 40% off for Black Friday with the code BESTFRIDAY, several of their favorite designs are majorly discounted. Plus, although the sale runs until Nov. 29, the site is also offering free shipping on Nov. 26.
So if you’re looking to give your closet the royal treatment this season, look below for a roundup of royal-approved J.Crew style staples.
Meghan Markle’s Chateau parka
Last winter, the Duchess of Sussex, 40, bundled up in Beverly Hills with the bestselling Chataeu parka ($225 with code, usually $375) made from the brand’s exclusive Italian stadium-cloth wool. While the jacket is no longer available in Markle’s exact walnut brown shade, the wintertime style staple is still sold in five shades and range of fits.
Meghan Markle's perfect lightweight jacket
Clearly a fan of J.Crew jackets, Markle slipped on the brand’s Perfect Lightweight Jacket ($76.80 with code, usually $128) while showing off her chicken coop during her and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah this spring.
Kate Middleton’s velvet hair tie
Nothing like a velvet bow to add some holiday spirit to a hairstyle. In fall 2018, Kate Middleton paired her ponytail with this velvet bow ($13.50 with code, usually $22.50) on multiple occasions, teaming the hair tie with simple earrings and elegant outerwear.
Prince Harry’s Ludlow suit
Talk about “Suits.” Prince Harry, 37, is famously a fan of J.Crew’s “Ludlow” styles. While he owns the brand’s bestselling blazer in at least five different colors, the light gray version has been Harry’s outfit of choice for several significant occasions, including the Sussexes’ tell-all Oprah interview in 2021 and their son Archie’s public debut and christening in 2019. Although certain shades and fabrics of the many “Ludlow” designs – including that exact Italian wool version – are excluded from the sale, a slew of similar styles like the gray windowpane pattern blazer ($256.80 with code, usually $428) and pants ($136.80 with code, usually $4228), and the khaki English wool-cotton jacket ($178.80 with code, usually $298) are included.
Meghan Markle's collarless sweater-blazer
Game, set, match with Meghan. The former “Suits” star wore the loose-fitting Juliette colorless sweater-blazer ($94.80 with code, usually $158) while watching the US Open in 2019.
Meghan Markle's charcoal wash jeans
Even duchesses wear denim. In 2018, Markle sported the cropped, superskinny style 9″ high-rise toothpick jean ($76.80 with code, usually $128) with a navy blouse while visiting New Zealand with Prince Harry.
