Prince Charles’ sweet Meghan Markle tribute spotted at Clarence House

The Duchess of Cornwall recently hosted an International Women's Day reception at her and the Duke of Cornwall's London residence, Clarence House, and eagle-eyed royal fans have spotted the couple's adorable tribute to Meghan Markle.

Camilla, 74, has long been patron of multiple women's charities, including the Women of the World Foundation (WOW), and hosted many guests, including Mel B, on Tuesday 8 March to mark the important day.

During the event, the Duchess sat down for a chat with members of Team ExtraOARdinary, Kat Cordiner, Abby Johnston and Charlotte Irving, in one of the many rooms at Clarence House.

Pictures taken during the meeting show off Camilla and Charles, 74, interior tastes, with the couple having opted for traditional decor and furnishings.

In one corner, a small dark wooden side table is visible, which is covered with a collection of framed photographs.

A portrait of Prince Harry in a brown frame could be seen at the front of the collection, alongside an official photograph of the family as they attended Prince Louis' christening.

In a small white and silver frame, a sweet photo of Prince Charles with Meghan on her wedding day could be seen.

Charles can be seen grinning as he looks at Meghan, who is holding a gorgeous floral bouquet, as they make their way into a grand venue.

The black-and-white shot was first unveiled on Prince Harry and Meghan's first wedding anniversary, when they shared it on their joint Sussex Instagram page.

Prince Charles and Camilla's sweet tribute to Meghan and Harry comes as Royal author Brian Hoey revealed the Queen is really "desperate" to meet her great granddaughter Lilibet, who was born in June.

The 95 year old monarch still hasn't had the opportunity to meet her yet, as Meghan and Harry now permanently reside in Montecito, California.

The author told Express.co.uk: "I have heard from people I know within the Royal Household she really would desperately like to see the baby in this way.

"I think she would love to, I wonder whether it is going to happen. I would love to think it could."

Prince Harry has only returned to the UK twice since moving to America, while Meghan is yet to visit.

Royal fans are still hopeful Prince Harry, Meghan, and their two children, Archie and Lilibet, will return to the UK for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee this summer.
