Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, made her fortune on Instagram where she has more than 4million subscribers.
The social media star attracted a legion of fans who loved her down-to-earth personality and clever cleaning hacks.
And, she became so successful that she’s published several books on the topic and even released her own homeware line with Tesco and a special scent with Lenor.
But, alongside her skyrocketing fame, Mrs Hinch also inspired thousands of cleaning-obsessive to start Mrs Hinch themed Facebook groups where fans share their top tips and tricks for a sparkling home.
Much of the advice is super useful and can be used to stop home-based disasters from occurring!
In one case, this week, a woman took to the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook page to ask for help after a spill threatened to permanently strain her carpet.
And, with the cost of flooring nowadays we’re not surprised she was panicking!
Luckily, the well-versed Mrs Hinch fans were there to help.
Lee-Ann McDonald wrote: “Tips on getting pasta bake sauce out of my carpet?
“My one year old got in the cupboard when I was sorting the garden out and now we have a stained carpet.
“So far I’ve tried white vinegar and carpet stain remover.”
Food stains on carpeting can be painful to remove as the colours and smells get stuck within the twisted fibres.
But, there are plenty of solutions out there that work!
Ffion Bloomfield commented: “I use the shaving foam hack. I have tried so many high street stain removers to get stains out of different areas around the house and they just won’t budge.
“I cannot believe the results I had with such a cheap and easy product – shaving foam.
“I used it on my carpet, mattresses and sofas, the stains vanished finally.”
Nicole Symonds commented: “Do you just rub it in and leave it?”
The cleaning fan replied: “Yep, it’s so easy. Leave for 10 minutes, check and rub it again. If it needs it, leave it for another 10 minutes before wiping it with a damp cloth.”
Shaving foam can help to add moisture to carpet stains and penetrate the fabric, claims the Express, and you can buy a can for £1 at plenty of shops.

Ffion insisted that the foam used must be at least one inch thick.
And, in the comments, people agreed that using a natural shaving gel can remove all sorts of stains including grease – although try not to use any foam that has colouring in it.
This could make stains worse!
Other Mrs Hinch fans insisted that washing up liquid was to way to go.
One woman said: “Washing up liquid works!”
While another added: “Use tepid water, don’t use hot. Try washing up liquid.”
And, “I’ve used the Elbow Grease Washing up Liquid before, the trick to targeting carpet stains is to be patient, but this washing up liquid made my stair stains vanish completely.”
You can grab a bottle of Elbow Grease Washing Up Liquid for about 89p from various retailers including B&M and Home Bargains.
