The Met’s biggest looks just might have met their match.

Stars stepped out in style for the Met Gala 2023 on Monday, with headline-making looks ranging from Kim Kardashian’s pearl-covered Schiaparelli dress to Rihanna’s flower-filled Valentino.

But while most of the fashions at the stylish shindig will cost you thousands of dollars, it doesn’t take designer archive access or an in with Anna Wintour to shop similar looks for less.

We’ve gathered a selection of styles that embody some of the night’s biggest celebrity trends, whether you’re hoping to try out tweed or be dripping in pearls.

Below, shop more budget-friendly ways to get your favorite Met Gala ensembles — and don’t forget to check out our guide to re-creating the gala’s best beauty moments to complete the look.

   Kylie Jenner

Did you “rise and shine” the day after the Met Gala still thinking about Kylie Jenner’s red-hot Haider Ackermann for Jean Paul Gaultier gown? This equally eye-catching dress has a similarly striking silhouette.

Cara Delevingne

For the “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty”-themed event, Cara Delevingne paid homage to the late fashion designer with a shirt dress inspired by his signature personal style.

Snag a similarly sleek look — minus the red carpet-ready train — for under $150.

Lizzo

At this year’s Met, pearls were popping up all over (both figuratively and literally, due to Kim Kardashian’s fashion mishap). If you’re admiring Lizzo’s take on the trend — a pearl-draped black Chanel dress — consider this black-and-white style.

Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez’s love might not cost a thing — but her ab-baring Ralph Lauren dress does. If it’s the crosscrossed neckline that caught your eye, snag the style for less with this under-$100 Express dress; thanks to its convertible straps, it’ll even deliver two outfits for the price of one.

Dua Lipa

Let the feathers fly — or rather, levitate. Channel Dua Lipa’s white tweed dress — or Rihanna’s pre-Met Gala feathered mini — with this on-sale style.

Florence Pugh

Go with the flow — Miss Flo, that is — with a black-and-white bow-adorned look. Put a short spin on Florence Pugh’s Valentino look (sans headpiece) with this minidress available at Nordstrom.

Keke Palmer

Plenty of celebrities made tweed look cool, not conservative, on the Met Gala red carpet. Make like Keke Palmer with this strapless pastel style similar to her Sergio Hudson gown.

Nicole Kidman

While Kidman’s Chanel style was the same one she sported in a No. 5 fragrance ad nearly 20 years ago, you can create a similar feathered fashion statement using modern styles like this slip dress from a celeb-loved label.

Kendall Jenner

Took a shine to Kendall Jenner’s shiny bodysuit? While the model opted to go pantsless in Marc Jacobs, try a more wearable version of her look with a sequined bodysuit like this V-neck design.
