Massage therapist reveals 10-second trick that instantly relieves back pain | The Sun

WHETHER from poor posture or uncomfortable work stations, it's very common to experience twinges of back pain.

Most of the time the discomfort will fade within a few weeks.

Still, that's a fair amount of time to be in discomfort for.

A massage therapist has taken to TikTok to share a 10 second trick that he claims will ease your back pain.

No tools necessary – all you need is a door frame to hold on to.

James Moore – who goes by Moore Wellness on social media – recently posted a clip to his TikTok account and it's since received thousands of views.

He captioned it: "Reduce your back pain with this stretch."

James advised anyone with a sore back to grab onto a door frame with two hands.

Next, he showed himself crossing one leg over the other, resting the ankle on the opposite knee.

The massage therapist then bent his standing leg into a squat, keeping the other leg crossed over his knee and holding onto the door frame for balance.

James advised his followers to hold the pose for 10 seconds.

"It stretches the glutes, which helps reduce lower back pain and increase mobility," he wrote.

One commenter said: "Letting people know this actually really helps, I’ve been doing it regularly for a year and it makes a big difference."

But another complained that they couldn't get into the stretch due to knee issues.

James has shared further videos about how to ease back pain, each of which has received millions of views.

One shows him lying face-down on the floor with his forehead resting on his hands.

In the clip, he bends one leg and puts the foot under his thigh, using it to twist his body so the other leg lifts and his toe touches the floor behind him.

His back makes an audible cracking sound.

The video has received over 10 million views.
