From wet T-shirts to itty-bitty bikinis.

Hot off her headline-making flashing moment at Essence Festival, Janelle Monáe teased her upcoming “Water Slide” music video (out Friday) on Instagram Thursday, sharing a clip of herself dancing poolside in a floral crochet two-piece.

The Grammy nominee’s latest video from her “Age of Pleasure” album appears to pick up right where her last, for “Lipstick Lover,” left off, with Monáe and her pals enjoying some fun in the sun in sexy swim looks.

While the “Dirty Computer” hitmaker shows off her barely-there blooming bikini top and 6-foot-long braids, her fellow partiers twerk on beach loungers and shimmy in the water.

Monáe’s fans and celebrity friends shared their excitement for the sexily styled summer video.

“Exactly exactly,” “Abbott Elementary” creator Quinta Brunson commented. “Am I seeing bodies that look like mine? Awww snap. Let’s gooo,” actress Danielle Brooks added.

“Can we take a minute to appreciate that in this mere 14 second teaser I see people of all shapes and mobility? Janelle, you are a queen for using your platform as a source of positive change,” one commenter chimed in.

However, a few trolls took issue with Monáe’s shifting personal style.

“When u go from dressing like a Lil boy , to not wearing clothes it seems fake & a marketing plan,” one wrote of the non-binary musician’s move away from the black-and-white suits that were once her signature.

The “Make Me Feel” singer (who uses both “she/her” and “they/them” pronouns) has been experimenting with more skin-baring styles lately, having memorably stripped down to a sequined Thom Brown bikini on the Met Gala red carpet in May.

“I’m much happier when my titties are out and I can run around free,” they told Rolling Stone in their June 2023 cover story for the music mag, for which they posed topless.
