Jamie Lee Curtis couldn’t help but gush over the news that her onscreen daughter Lindsay Lohan has welcomed her first child.
Page Six revealed that Lohan, 37, gave birth to her and her husband Bader Shammas‘ first child, a son named Luai.
And while the news was welcomed with excitement across social media, one actress in particular couldn’t hide her joy from the world.
“MAGIC MONDAY! My movie daughter just made me a movie grandmother,” the Oscar winner wrote on Instagram Monday. “Blessings to Lindsay and Bader for the birth of Luai! @lindsaylohan.”
Curtis played Lohan’s mother in the 2003 film “Freaky Friday.”
The “Everything Everywhere All At Once” star, 64, previously shared her excitement over Lohan’s pregnancy news.
Sharing a series of snaps from Lohan’s baby shower in April, Curtis wrote on Instagram, “My friend and film daughter @lindsaylohan is growing up! So thrilled for her. What a mama she will be.”
Curtis’ sweet post came just hours after a rep for Lohan confirmed to Page Six that she and Shammas welcomed a “beautiful, healthy” boy.
“The family is over the moon in love,” her rep told us in a statement.
The baby was born in Dubai, where the couple resides, although his exact birth date was not immediately made known.
Luai is an Arabic name that means “shield” or “protector.”
The “Parent Trap” star announced her pregnancy in March by sharing a snap of a “coming soon” onesie on social media.
“We are blessed and excited,” she wrote via Instagram at the time.
The post came four months after she revealed her desire to have children with her hubby.
“I want to have kids,” she told Interview magazine in November 2022, noting that she had “talked” to her partner about whether to continue living in Dubai as parents.
“It’s so safe there, and the schools are great. It’s so detached from everything that I’m used to. … It’s nice to have a separate world that’s my own.”
The couple took their romance public in February 2020, before Shammas popped the all-important question in November that year.

Lohan later debuted her huge diamond sparkler in a sweet Instagram post, writing, “My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love.”
The couple secretly married in April 2022, with Lohan waiting until that July to confirm they had tied the knot.
Lohan was previously engaged to real estate mogul Egor Tarabasov in 2016.
