While Robbie Williams is definitely pop royalty, it turns out he also has unexpected links to the actual royal family.
Robbie Williams, 47, struck up an unlikely friendship with Princess Beatrice, 33, after being introduced by her Mum, Sarah Ferguson.
The Queen's granddaughter is believed to be ‘like a little sister’ to the pop star after the pair developed an especially close connection.
The friends have even holidayed together in the Caribbean, after originally linking up there back in 2011.

Beatrice, her Mum Fergie and Robbie were all reported to be staying on a yacht owned by British mobile phone tycoon John Caudwell.
"Robbie gets on really well with Beatrice. He treats her like a little sister and looks after her. It’s really sweet," an insider told The Sun.
"A few of Robbie’s football pals were round the other week and Fergie was just wandering about in her robe. She came and said hello and was really charming."
The source added that Robbie called Fergie an "amazing woman" and they "got along like a house on fire".
"Robbie likes having Fergie around and said she could stay as long as she liked," they said.
He is believed to call her ‘sis’ as a nickname.
Robbie, 47, also has a biological sister named Sally, while Beatrice has Princess Eugenie, 31.
This isn’t Beatrice’s only popstar pal and the royal is also known to be friends with chart-topping star, Ed Sheeran.
The pair were involved in an accident at a party where Beatrice is believed to have cut Ed’s face after pretending to knight him with a sword.
Ed made no attempt to hide his injury as he posed for pictures with fans ahead of a London gig the following night.
One source said: "He could have been blinded. Beatrice was deeply upset and inconsolable."
The accident happened at the Royal Lodge in Windsor, home to the Duke of York, Prince Andrew, in 2016.
Beatrice is also known to be close friends with Ellie Goulding who also sung at the wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William in 2012.
