With just over 50 days until Christmas, Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby – together with This Morning’s gadget expert Steve Wilson – delivered the show’s annual Top Toys list for 2022 on today’s show.

Following his extensive research and testing of the best toys available for children of all ages, Steve has whittled the hotly anticipated list down to 12 toys that parents might want to consider snapping up to avoid disappointment.

Phillip said: ‘The reason we do this is because the closer you get towards Christmas the less there is around.’

Steve said, ‘It’s very true, you do have to get in early, you really really do. ‘

Here are top 12 toys for Christmas 2022 with prices starting from £10 for a miniature kitchen set, while other popular presents include a guinea pig who gives birth and a robot that draws pictures for you to colour in.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby – together with This Morning’s gadget expert Steve Wilson – delivered the show’s annual Top Toys list for 2022 on today’s show.

 1. Fur Fluffs Puppy: £39.99

Steve said: ‘FurFluffs are an adorable ball of fluffy cuddliness, but that’s not all.

‘This interactive toy will need loving and playing with to eventually ‘open up’ to you and reveal its facial features.

‘You can then interact in many ways with games and music, but if your FurFluff feels scared at any point, you may need to coax them out of their shell again.’

 2. Cadson miniature kitchen utensils: £10

Steve said: ‘A timeless classic, miniature kitchens have always been so popular, and you don’t need a full mini-kitchen to play with miniature kitchen tools.

‘They are just as popular for making mud pies in the outdoors, or for playing with at bath time.’

3. Melissa and Doug wooden shape storing grocery cart: £74.99
